Sažetak
Implementation of resonant grounding in the medium voltage (MV) rural distribution networks is in the process of consideration in Croatia. For analytical purposes, some calculations on a proposed 'typical' rural distribution network are conducted followed by the presentation of live measurements on a similar real network. Based on calculations, influence of resonant grounding on watt-metric protection behaviour is presented in this article. This influence is compared with data found in the literature and those obtained by measurements.
