Sažetak
The removal efficiency of chosen veterinary pharmaceuticals from aqueous solutions using different commercial RO/NF membranes was investigated. The selected membranes were characterized by their nominal R values for characterizing solutes, and by determination of their porosity characteristics. The retention and the removal efficiency of the selected pharmaceuticals was measured and the retention mechanisms of the examined membranes were established. The removal efficiency of the RO membranes was higher than 98 %. The same is also applied for the tight NF membranes, and the removal efficiency is lower only in case of the loose NF membranes.
