Sažetak
Bronze ware has been found on the most important La Tene sites of eastern Slavonia, mostly in warrior graves of the late La Tene cemeteries, or in important fortified settlements of the same period. Those vessels belong to the final phase of the material culture of the Scordisci, i.e. the end of the 2nd and the first half of the 1st century BC. Graves contained drinking ware, i.e. pails, saucepans, simpulums as well as sieves, cups and jugs. Some are considered to have been produced by the local Southpannonian craftsmen, while some were produced in Northern Italy. Trade roads probably went from Aquileia to Segestica and then followed the rivers Sava and Danube. Some of the sites where bronze ware has been discovered would eventually become Roman forts on the limes (Teutoburgium, Cornacum) while Cibalae would became an important settlement and production centre behind the limes.
