Sažetak
Knowledge based expert systems, as a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) application, have been employed in many different areas. In this paper will be represented the fundamentals of knowledge based expert systems, the architecture of knowledge based systems, approaches of knowledge acquisition and representation, the inference engine, the user interface scheme, and the application of expert systems in process planning.
