Sažetak
Forming technologies, that have been applied for a number of years in a definite conventional form, can be innovated by applying knowledge from the area of modelling, simulations, optimizations, theory of processes, computer technique and artificial intelligence. In this paper mathematical modelling and optimization of the forward extrusion process of the cold metal was done. Optimization i.e. minimization of forming force was done by computer and use of genetic algorithm.
