Sažetak
The International Emergency Preference Scheme (IEPS) enables the use of public telecommunications by national authorities, to have access to the international telephone service while this service is restricted due to damage, congestion or faults. This paper describes functional requirements, features, access and operational management of the IEPS as well as impacts on call control protocols in Multi Service Networks that need to be implemented in order to support IEPS.
