Sažetak
This paper presents comparative cost-based analysis of the four well-known location management strategies for the radio and fixed network part of the cellular network. A uniform mobility model has been used to model the mobility of users where users were classified according to the Call-to-Mobility-Ratio (CMR). Results are given weighting in different ways the signaling cost in the radio and in the fixed network part.
