Sažetak
The introduction to the edited volume presents main converging and diverging tendencies within cognitive linguistics, and then gives an overview of plenary and key lectures delivered at the 8th International Cognitive Linguistics Conference, held at the University of La Rioja in July 2003, as well as other invited contributions dealing with interdisciplinary issues and the internal dynamics of recent developments in Cognitive Linguistics (CL).
