Sažetak
This paper discusses the questions of social influence and educational use of modern info-communicational technologies. It points at the role of ICT, especially the Internet, in the transformation of the learning and teaching act. Internet potentials have been identified and analysed congruent with the idea of (socio)constructivism. Students and teachers’ roles in “ Internet based instruction” have been questioned and defining of students and teachers’ information and computer literacy has been discussed as well as the developmental ways of these competences. The authors offer the constructivist design instruction as the key assumption in the effective educational Internet application. In the paper they try to answer the question – how can we use Internet educational potentials in establishing the basic principles of constructivism.
