Sažetak
Field trials were conducted on inbred maize lines on three soil types with five weed control treatments (1.untreated control ; 2. control with two hoeings ; 3. mixture of metolachlor+atrazine-1800+1200 gha-1, pre em. broadcast ; 4. mixture of metolachlor+atrazine at a reduced dose 900+600g ha-1, pre-em. spraying bands ; 5. rimsulfuron- 15g a.i. ha-1)Traits of inbred lines OS 1-44 as male and OS 36-16 as female were significantly dependent on the growth seasons, sites, weed control methods and their interactions. Inbred maize lines reacted positively to herbicide weed control, with significant differences for most of the traits, such as: number of fertile ears, lenght of ear, number of rows, number of grains in a row, thousand kernel weight and yield in comparison to the untreated control. The analysis of regression and correlation showed that every year and in all sites there was a high negative correlation between the weed level in inbred lines and the yield, with higher correlation coefficients for the dry weed mass (r= -0.8054** ) in relation to the number of weeds (r= -0.7720**).
