Sažetak
In this article authors critically examine the Croatian economic development strategy in context to country's exchange rate and protection policy. The paper also discusses the internal and external equilibrium as a policy criteria. Questions such as the policy of external and internal equilibrium: protection policy and liberalisation of the foreign trade ; purchasing power parity exchange rate and the policy of foreign trade competitivness, etc., are alo embraced.
