Sažetak
This is the report from the conference held under the same title in Dubrovnik, December 1997. The Mediterranean cultural identity, understood as an awareness of diversity, was discussed in the context of geopolitical reality and globalisation. Inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue was particularly stressed, as well as the suportive Euro-Mediterranean cultural programs induced by the EU. Intercultural relations were analyzed in the perspective for peace in South-eastern Europe. The prospects for the Mediterrannean intercultural dialogue were developed.
