Sažetak
This study investigates Holland's (1959 ; 1966 ; 1997) congruence concept and its relation to specific job outcomes, with specific focus on interest and self-efficacy measures used to estimate personal RIASEC profile. Here we provide information on relatedness of interest and self-efficacy scales, on their correspondence with occupational choice and on their possible moderating effect on relation between person-environment congruence and job outcome variables, such as satisfaction and achievement. The results generally indicate circular structure and relatedness of RIASEC interest and self-efficacy scales. Both interest and self-efficacy scales are related to occupational choice, but stronger congruence is achieved when interests are used to portray personal profile. Although occupational choice is stronger determined by interests, unsubstantial relation of congruence and study satisfaction and academic achievement is found regardless RIASEC measure used.
