Sažetak
The paper describes the infuence of different factors affecting the pitting corrosion phenomena in the weldment area of different stainless steels. Basic information and some of the more important results of completed experimental work have been presented. It has been concluded that a change of welding processes, surface treatments and temperature strongly affect the weight loss, "character", layout and intensity of the pitting corrosion of the examined stainless steels in the weldment area.
