Sažetak
It is well known that the way people regulate emotions and cope with stress has a negative influence on health. The purpose of this study was to examine the nature of the relationship between regulation of emotion, coping styles and subjective health. The participants were 285 undergraduates of University of Rijeka who completed a battery of questionnaires. In line with previous findings the obtained results showed that emotional inhibition, cognitive rehearsal of experienced negative emotions, avoidant and emotion-focused coping predicted poorer psychological and somatic health.
