Sažetak
Criteria for the evalution of stand vitality and exposure to pressures compriese the main part of the "Methodology for determining and monitoring the stare and changes of forest ecosystems and the resulting damages and losses of same". Two groups of diagnostic parameters were established for the evalution of stand witality: (1) Regeneration capapity: a. reproductive ability (flowering and seed crop periodicity, seed yield, seed quality, young growth frequency), b. survival potential (pedogenetic and technogenetic characteristics of the upper soil layer, coverage, critical pressure of game animals, small animals and birds, and quality of young growth): (2) Stand growth and development a height, diameter and increment of volume, development of tree crowns and wood assortments, b. physiologically weakened condition (pedogenetic and technogenetic characteristics of inner soil layers, crown and stem injuries, intensity of pest attack and disease). Stand state and change indicators were quantified (by point system, indices` 1-9) and classified by quality categories (1-9, from insufficient to excellent). Evaluation of stand vitality was carried out for two Ecological-Managerial Forest Types (EMFT) and results incluge: A. for EMFT by as assocation of Common Oak and Hornbeam the stand vitality decreased for 21.8 %, growth and development capacity decreased for 16.3 % and stand regeneration capacity desreased for 26.2 %. B. for EMFT characterised by association of Common Oak and Great Greenweed, stand vitality decreased for 28.2 %, growth and development capacity decreased for 17.7 % and stand regeneration capacity desreased for 34.8.
