Sažetak
The limestone ash-cheast of Marcus Aurelius Glabrio from Siscia is reconsidered from various points of veiw. THe peace was first published in 1909, and has since been mentioned summarily on several occasions. Besides some false assumptions put forward, the archaeological potential of this stone has remained underexploited. The achievements of this paper are the following: 1) correction of the falseties and inaccuracies of the previous discussion ; 2)widening of the scape of the study from the aspects of iconography and prosepography and the recent scholarship on production and trade in marble and stone funurary monuments in Noricum and Pannonia.
