Sažetak
Laser radiation was focused onto an indium target in air. The nitrogen laser beam (337 nm) had a maximum energy density of 0.6 J/cm2 and the pulse duration was 6 ns. The irradiated sutface has been studied employing a scanning microscope. The optical spactral lines of plasmas produced by radiation have been analysed by a monochromator. The measured electron temperature of 1.7 eV was compared with a theoretical calcučation.
