Sažetak
The analysis of post-socialist historiography in Croatia reveals that 1990 did not bring many substantial changes, because the process of modernization of Croatian historical writing had started already in the late socialist period with the influence of the French Annales. The paper also discusses historical institutions and journals in Croatia.
