Sažetak
Our analysis of the adaptation of anglicisms on the semantic level shows that due to the innovative element - primary and secondary - which we have built into the theory of languages in contact on all three levels, the transfer of meaning and the adaptation of meaning of anglicisms in European languages can be much better and more precisely defined and illustrated.
