Sažetak
Ispitivan je utjecaj acetilsalicilne kiseline na aktivnost pseudokolinesteraze u štakora. U životinja koje su tijekom 15 dana dobivale hranu koja je sadržavala 1% acetilsalicilne kiseline signifikantno je povišena aktivnost pseudokolinesteraze u plazmi, jetri i masnom tkivu. U ovom radu je, uz do sada poznata zajednička svojstva hipolipemika - derivata fibrične kiseline i acetilsalicilne kiseline (proliferacija jetrenih peroksizoma, povećana aktivnost peroksizomske acil-CoA oksidaze, sniženje triglicerida u jetri i plazmi štakora) po prvi puta ukazano i na njihove slične efekte na aktivnost kolinesteraze. Pretpostavljeno je da povećana oksidacija masnih kiselina u peroksizomima izazvana hipolipemicima, odnosno acetilsalicilnom kiselinom, uz posljedično stvaranje butilirkolina, uzrok povećane aktivnosti kolinesteraze.
