Sažetak
The aim of the paper has been to find such solution, which can at the same time meet the requirements of environmental protection and be accomplished by low cost, without significant rebuilding of existing rotary-hearth type furnace. By using the achievements of basic research in field of environmental protection and energy utilizing new solutions have been found for the modernization of reheating rotary-hearth type furnaces of rolling mills.
