Sažetak
The paper gives an overview of planning, designing a modern course on Distributed software development (DSD), which is delivered on the distance both in the sense of lectures (content and communication) and in the sense of distributed practical wor. It is a result of Swedish-Croatian collaboration. To increase the educational value, the software products developed during the next course delivery, and the existence of such tools affected new student projects, course content and activities in another delivery course. The paper describes synchronous and asynchronous technologies for communication and collaboration used in the course, student projects and their outcomes. Cultural issues and student expiriences are also presented.
