Sažetak
Morphometrical characteristics of skull and body as well as the distributional records of populations of the Alpine shrew from Croatia and neighbbouring regions (Yugoslavia), and from Austria and Germany are discused. Variance analysis, cluster analysis and principal component analysis were used to demonstrate differences between populations occuring north of the river Sava and those occuring south of the river. The latter show a clinal increase of dimensions.
