Sažetak
The light rays which reflect from the coloured surface of a fabric warp and weft threads are mixed in the man's eye into a uniform colour impulse. The influence of an individual colour component on overall colour effect depends on its dimensions and colour proporties. The purpose of this research work was to evaluate practicability of a theoretical geometrical model for determining the fractions of colour components and the colour values of fabrics made of differently coloured warp and weft threads. The method was estimated comparatively by using the regression analysis of theoretically and photometrically determined fractions of colour components. The values of colour differences between the measured and the theoretically determined colour values were evaluated by using theoretical, corrected theoretical and experimental fractions. The results have shown that the geometrical model is adequate for the purpose. It is also much simpler, cost-effective and less time consuming that other measuring techniques.
