Sažetak
Testing of soybean lines derived from M.Goldsoy x M14 cross for the oil contentand composition, conducted on the experimental field of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences - Zagreb (Maksimir), in 1975, 1976 and 1977 rendered no significant differences in average oil content between lines and their parents. However, line 4 had a significantly different content of saturated fatty acids (16, 96%) from both parents. The same line is characterized by a high content of palmitic (13, 05%) and stearic (3, 91%)acids and significantly lower content of linoleic (54, 30%) and linolenic (8, 93%) acids. Significantly higher oleic acid content was recorded in lines 10 (22, 27%), 11 (21, 79%) and 15 (23, 05%) than in both parents, while line 11 had less linolenic acid content (8, 86%) than M. Goldsoy. In addition to marked genetically conditioned differences between lines, the oil composition was also considerably influenced by the climatic factors of the investigation years.
