Sažetak
The preceeding four international congresses of the Croatian Society of Nuclear Medicine were organized in 1994(1), 1996(2), 1999(3), and 2002(4). For the 5th International Congress 81 abstract were selected: 42 for oral and 39 for poster presentation. The rejection rate was 11%. In addition, 13 speakers were invited. Mostly, the papers came from Croatia (41). However, we got contributions from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Switzerland, and USA, too. This report includes a selection of abstracts which may interest readers of Nuklearmedizin. Furthermore, we would like to present the spectrum of the Croatian nuclear medicine. The scientific standard was satisfactory for all the papers submitted. They demonstrate, that Croatian nuclear medicine is in line with the general trends of the European nuclear medicine. This year, within the frame of the congress the Alpe-Adria Symposium on Hashimoto thyroiditis and hyperparathyroidism was organized in collaboration with the Austrian and Slovenian societies for the first time.
