Sažetak
This paper explores the relationship between information technology and BPC and provides a summary of the features of business process modelling tools, placing them within an empirically derived framework and focusing in particular on the suitability of simulation modelling features for the business process change projects. The goals of the paper were to define, evaluate and rank the main characteristics of integrated business process management and simulation tools and to systemize the objectives and requirements of an entire variety of BPC projects. Finally, this study resulted in the development of a framework to help managers and IT experts in making a flexible and customized selection of business process management tools.
