Sažetak
Recent investigations in the north-east Adriatic region indicate the presence of 10 species of Insectivora and 21 species of Rodentia. The presence of West Mediterranean taxa is not confirmed. Continental species reach the sea-shore, on the mainland as well as on some of the islands. The distinction between Mediterranean and continental taxa is described on the basis of their vertical and horizontal distribution.
