Sažetak
The quantification of the essential oil of Vitex agnus-castus L.f.rosea RADIĆ Fruits, was done gravimetrically. the essential oil yields ranged from 0.52% to 0.77%. The composition of the essential oils was investigated by GC and GC/MS. The oils contained at least 44 compounds. The most significant components of the monoterpenoid fractions were sabinene, limonene, cineole, alfa-pinene, alfa-terpineol and terpinen-4-ol, while the maijor sesquiterpenes were beta-caryophyllene, alfa-humulene, cis-beta-farnesene,and scadinol.
