Sažetak
Three specimens of S. viridensis were captured with a school of S. sphyraena in waters around Dubrovnik, Croatia (42&ordm ; ; ; 41' N, 17&ordm ; ; ; 57' E). The fish were captured on September 2, 2003. The average body weight was 80 g and the total length was 278 mm. It is the first record of the yellowmouth barracuda in the southeastern Adriatic Sea .The dispersion of this pelagic species to the north might be linked to increasing sea temperatures, which is in connection with global climatic changes.
