Sažetak
In this work the effect of sulphur accelerators during the vulcanization process of natural rubber were investigated. The samples were prepared by sulphur vulcanization adding the equal quantity of different accelerators at the same temperature and two period of time. The influence of each accelerator on the crosslink density was emphasized by determination of degree of crosslink of samples before thermal ageing. After ageing of samples the crosslink density was followed. In all investigated samples at first the additional crosslinks were observed and than the degradation of the network, by thermal ageing. From obtained values of crosslink density as well as from molecular mass between crosslink Mc it can be concluded about the suitable use of the accelerator in certain condition. The results also indicate necessity of knowledge of the crosslink junction to predict the behaviour during the use under the various effects as heat radiation and other. The crosslink density was followed by equilibrium swelling and by mechanical measurement.
