Sažetak
On the territory of Eastern Croatia (3 sugar factories) 3736 samples of soil were analysed during the 10 year period (1992.-2002.). Based on the received data the functional correlations were established between the certain indicators of the available plant nutrients and the computer model was developed to establish fertilization by nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for sugar beet. The basic characteristic of this model is the application of the mathematical functions where the total need of sugar beet for the certain nutrient is corrected according to the content of the respected element in the soil determined by EUF and the influence of the other nutrients as well as the factors of availability of nutrients like the concept of the nutrient potential (pP and pK) as the additional indicators of their biodisponsability.
