Sažetak
Knowledge management decreases costs, increases quality and efficiency of day-to-day business, which could increase the competitive strengths of Croatian banks. The survey research is conducted with the several goals: (1) to investigate the current level of knowledge management implementation in Croatian bank, (2) to conduct if banks with the knowledge management project have different characteristics than banks without it, and (3) to detect purposes of the knowledge management project in the banks. Results of the survey indicate that Croatian banks in most of the cases do not have knowledge management project. However, banks that do have such a project are larger and more profitable. Main purposes of the knowledge management project were to improve quality of the service, increasing income and profit, and increasing the savings.
