Sažetak
Every day the pollution of our rivers (Dunav, Drava), ground water and nature preserve (Kopački rit) gets greater. Due to that, plants, animals and human health are jeopardized. In Eastern Slavonia there are many pollutants (industry, farms and households) of natural resources and at the same time, due to the fact that underground wastewater is used for drinking and other purposes in industry, there are surfaces for cultivation that demand unpolluted water as well. To prevent further pollution of rivers and underground water all wastewaters have to be purified. Prior to that, wastewaters have to be analyzed and tested (LATOV) and to the obtained results relevant technology and treatment of wastewaters can be established. In that way the quality of effluent satisfies all regulations (ISO, EU directives) for discharging to adequate recipient. That is way how we return from nature lent and keep environment safe for next generation.
