Sažetak
One of the important factors in poultry production is successful prevention of coccidiosis, applying polyether antibiotics (salinomycin, monensin, lasalocid, narasin) as coccidiostats or lately immunoprophylaxis. In this study application of coccidiostats in relationship with immunoprophylaxis (LIVACOX T) was analysed. Application of coccidiostats resulted with residues in food as well as environment burden with coccidiostats and their metabolites, which doesn’ t occur in case of vaccination. On the example of 4 287 000 broilers in fattening, the advantages of protection of poultry with vaccination in relation with the treatment with coccidiostats were pointed. In this study are given necessary quantities of some coccidiostats for fattening of equivalent number of animals and their danger for food and environment.
