Sažetak
Tailoring of desired catalysts can be designed with zeolite or zeolite-like materials. The nature, valence and ion size of the heteroatoms introduced into the lattice affect the structure, stability, lattice charge and the nature and strength of catalytic active sites of the resulting metallosilicates. Wet hydrogen peroxide catalytic oxidation (WHPCO), as one of new emerging oxidation processes, is particularly attractive for the treatment of highly polluted industrial wastewaters due to its mild operating conditions (0.1-0.5MPa, T≤ 100º C). The addition of heterogeneous catalyst has an obvious economical appeal. The aim of the present work is to study heterogeneous WHPCO of phenol using MFI type zeolites bearing Al, Cu, Fe and Ti metallic species, prepared by direct hydrothermal synthesis. The effects of the presence of sodium cation in the zeolite structure as well as leaching of the active metal component were studied.
