Sažetak
In application of the K–M theory in colour match prediction operations, certain errors and problems may occur while defining K/S values, because of the significant influence of the size of the integrated sphere. When there is a variation in measurement of samples dyed with different shaded dyestuff in corresponding concentrations, certain differences and errors will occur in K/S values and the reliability of K-M operations will become a question. In this paper the aim was to analyse the influence and the importance of size of measured surface through the performance of K– M colour match calculation on yellow and blue dyed samples. Woollen fabrics were dyed with yellow and blue shaded acid dyestuff in concentrations of 0, 25%, 0, 75% and 1, 4% and were studied through the application of Kubelka – Munk calculation model. Samples were measured spectrophotometrically by means of DataColor type SF600+CT, with three instrument apertures of different sizes (aperture "M" = 2 cm, aperture "S" = 0, 9 cm and "US" = 0, 6 cm), in the warp direction. In order to analyse the influence of surface structure regarding the size of the integrated sphere of measurement, the K–M values K/S, for dyed samples was determined and was showed in a relationship to concentration. Also, the lightness parameter (L*) were compared to the results for the K/S values, for three different sizes of measured surface of samples dyed in two opposite hues. While analysing the influence of measured surface size, the importance of lightness parameter in correlation to concentration of dyestuff and hue parameter, is accented. For samples dyed in yellow shaded hue, discrepancies influenced by the size of measured surface occurred at higher concentrations for the smallest measured area ("US"), while for blue shaded samples the differences occurred for lower concentration more accented for the largest area of measured surface ("M").
