Sažetak
Noise and vibrations produced by a circular saw will be measured and presented in this paper. Since the machine itself is owned and used by one of the authors, the goal will be to perform the measurements in real operating environment, in other words, at the author's residence. The machine is intended for home use and is not suitable for professional applications. Its operating capabilities include low- and medium-precision wood cutting. Noise and vibrations of the machine will be measured using several different circular saw blades of both High Speed Steel (HSS) and Hard Metal (HM) type. Noise and vibration levels, as well as spectral content of the produced noise will be measured and investigated in normal operating mode of the machine, with respect to the physical properties of different blades used in the experiment, such as type, diameter and sharpness of the blade and the number of saw-teeth.
