Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to assess the role played by land size factor in private ownership, on the adoption of agro-tourism as supplementary activities in Croatia as well as in cost-side counties of Croatia. Participation of agro-tourism households within the overall rural family households in Croatia and their mainly tourist regions are regressed in logit form to diversified land-size in private ownerships. Results indicate that the size of the farm play a very heterogeneous role on the decision of agrotourist activity within various region. We find a positive link and statistically significant role on the adoption of agro-tourism activities on the farm and farm magnitude in Spliptsko-Dalmatinska and Dubrovačko-Neretvanska counties, positive relation but insignificant in case of Zadarska, Šibensko-Kninksa and Istarska county, and negative link and significant coefficient in case of Croatia sample, Primorsko – Goranska and Ličko – Senjska counties.
