Sažetak
We report a 65 years old woman as a living kidney donor for her 25 years old son been on regular hemodialysis. Preoprative donor screening showed splenic artery aneurysm. She was previously abandoned from living kidney donation in the another transplant center. From our point of view the donation cannot be excluded and surgical treatment of aneurysm should be performed. We performed a left nefrectomy and subsequent resection and excision of splenic artery aneurysm. Further kidney transplantation for her son was successful. Her illness was not reason for her ferusal, but a challenge for her cure.
