Sažetak
The paper elaborates the role of the state institutions in managing the process of privatizing the Croatian economy. The author also attempts to elaborate the role of the state in creating the regulatory framework and institutions for privatization, demonopolization and decentralization of the economy and critically assess the achievements so far.
