Sažetak
In the production of austempered ductile irons with high toughness, strength, fatigue strength and wear resistance values, the retained austenite content is determined in all phases of heat treatment. In this work this was done using the X-ray diffraction method. In distinction from the samples that had disordered microstructures, in samples with ordered microstructures the accuracy of determination of retained austenite did not depend on the number of samples measured or on the number of integrated reflection intensities.
