Sažetak
The inorganic contituents in coal are in mineral forms. Organically bound in inorganic elements present in coal are in wide concentration ranges as minor and as trace elements (< 100 ppm). In the past, the range and mode of occurrence and distribution of inorganic constituents by different, mostly instrumental, methods has been established. Knowledge of the inorganic constituents in coal is important since it permits the possible prediction of different elements release during coal conversion processes. Some of the inorganic elements have significant influence on coal usage, especially on environment and on human health. For that reason they are described in this paper from different aspects.
