Sažetak
Specific behaviour of one- and two-phase CuZnAl alloy in the field of thermal transformation cycle has been analysed by means of differential scanning calorimetry supported by micrographic studies and microanalysis of the chemical composition. The transformation behaviour of the alloy shows significant dependence on the temperature of thermal treatment within the range from 600°C to 800°C. Except for the variation in transformation temperatures, there is also the change in characteristic temperature hystereses of the martensitic-austenitic transformation. The shift of thermal transformation cycle results from the occurrence of sub-grains, diffusion formation of crystals of alpha-mixes, and the change in the chemical composition of the austenite. Regardless of the resulting changes, the alloy shows full reversible transformability of the austenitic structure. Higher temperatures of the betatisation provide easier flow of austenitic-martensitic reaction.
