Sažetak
The research of Istrian pasture flora within the framework "The preservation of pasture plant diversity in the Adriatic region" project has been underway since 2003 at the family owned agricultural farms which breed sheep. Autochthonous vascular pasture flora was researched at the 6 locality from south to north of the Istrian Peninsula. During research in 2003, the Labiatae (Lamiaceae) family was represented by following 33 taxa (29 species and 4 subspecies) belonged to 16 genera: Ajuga genevensis L., Ajuga reptans L., Ballota nigra L., Calamintha nepeta (L.) Savi, Calamintha sylvatica Bromf. subsp. ascendens (Jordan) P. W. Ball, Clinopodium vulgare L., Glechoma hederacea L., Glechoma hirsuta Waldst. & Kit., Lamium amplexicaule L., Lamium maculatum L., Lamium purpureum L., Marrubium incanum Desr., Marrubium perregrinum L., Melissa officinalis L., Melittis melissophyllum L., Mentha arvensis L., Mentha longifolium (L.) Hudson, Mentha pulegium L., Prunella laciniata (L.) L., Prunella vulgaris L., Salvia officinalis L., Salvia pratensis L., Satureja montana L. subsp. illyrica Nyman, Satureja montana L. subsp. variegata (Host) P. W. Ball, Stachys annua (L.) L., Stachys officinalis (L.) Trevisan, Stachys recta L. subsp. subcrenata (Vis.) Briq., Teucrium chamaedrys L., Teucrium montanum L., Teucrium polium L., Thymus pulegioides L., Thymus serpyllum L. and Thymus vulgaris L. To complete studies about the distribution and variation of species from the Labiatae family, further research is necessary.
