Sažetak
This paper introduces an approach to design-process of the tool for the deep drawing using parametric modeling with database. Today's markets demand low-cost products having adequate functionality and high quality. However, with incresing sophistication of the products, development time also increses. Decreasing product life cycles nearing or even falling below development time also require new approaches to development. The product development process must be speeded up by application of simultaneous engineering methods and must be reorganized to yield compatitive benefits. Integrated products and process development is intended to reduce development time and cost and to increase product quality and process safety. The objective of recent research is to combine the areas of sheet metal part design method planning and tool design by means of parametric modeling by advanced CA techniques.
