Sažetak
4-Hydroxycoumarin (1, R1 = H) is a highly reactive compound ; its chemistry, 1 as well as biological evaluation of its reaction products, 2 has attracted great attention. Synthesis of novel classes of variously substituted furanocoumarins 2a-b and 3 will be presented.3 Structures of all new compounds are confirmed by combining NMR, LC-MS, and X-ray data. Experimental data are compared with the results of DFT calculations at B3LYP/6-31G(d, p) level. Interesting anti-inflammatory activity of prepared compounds will be discussed
