Sažetak
Author examines differences between European and post-communist legal culture and problems that arise in context of harmonisation of national law of post-communist states with law of the European Union. Full harmonisation of law necessitates not only formal but semantic harmonisation too. The latter is taking place in circumstances of "guided exchange" (Feyerabend) where meaning of law developed in authoritarian circumstances has to yield to law developed through discourse. This is however difficult as post-communist layers are cocooned in dominant legal culture (I.M. Young).
