Sažetak
Italian policy during the Second World War was a continuation of the fascists' policy since they came to power in 1922. Based on Roman agreement with the Indenpendent State of Croatia, Italy annexed parts of Gorski kotar and Hrvatsko primorje, greater part of Dalmatia with Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Boka kotorska and the most of the Dalmatians islands. Immediately after occupation of these territories, besides extensiv actions of "cleasing" the terrain from civil population, Italians established a system of totally unscrupulous economic exploitation. All this resulted in human losses (9.647 killed antifascist fighters and 30.795 killed civilians)
